Coleman Itzkoff

Coleman Itzkoff is a concert cellist currently based in New York. He has been an Artist-in-Residence on “Performance Today” and has performed as soloist with numerous orchestras across the nation including the Cincinnati, San Diego, and Houston symphonies. Coleman is a core member of the interdisciplinary ensemble, the American Modern Opera Company (AMOC), and has recently begun expanding his performing roles into the worlds of dance and theatre. Coleman’s major mentors have been Eric Kim, Desmond Hoebig, and Ralph Kirshbaum, and he holds a BM from Rice University and an MM from the University of a Southern California. Coleman plays a 1730 Gennaro Gagliano, generously loaned to him by the Amatius Foundation of Austin, Texas
